MapMarker Plus
This product is used to geocode desktop or enterprise data
quickly and accurately, making it immediately available to
location-based applications such as desktop mapping and demographic
analysis, or Internet-based services such as store locators
and routing services. Geocoding is the process of searching
database records for addresses, ZIP codes, and other geographic
information, and assigning latitude and longitude coordinates.
It is the first and most fundamental step in using location
information to gain business intelligence.

MapX Mobile
MapInfo MapX Mobile is a version of MapX that will run on
the Pocket PC platform, i.e., the Compaq iPAQ and HP Jornada.
This is a developer tool to enable our customers to develop
new mobile applications as well as mobile extensions to their
existing applications. Applications that are built with MapX
Mobile can run stand-alone on the device and leverage the
Pocket PC Windows OS. They do not require a wireless connection.
MapXtreme
This software can be used to put mapping applications into
the hands of anyone with access to a web browser. With a simple
click, customers can see their wireless coverage area, find
the closest drug store, or get driving directions to the next
sales call. Network engineers can visually spot disruptions
in their network, automatically notifying customers of service
outages.
